TMP College is an Independent Specialist College based in the North West of England, committed to providing high-quality education and support to all students. We are currently seeking a dedicated Music Tutor (SEND) to join our Performing Arts department. This role focuses on teaching Awards and Diplomas in Music, Performance and Technology courses, specifically tailored for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a Music Technology Tutor at TMP College, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Music to SEND learners. You will play a key role in supporting the academic progress and personal development of your students by adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Music Technology.
  • Proven experience working with SEND learners.
  • Strong knowledge of Music Technology curriculum.
  • Ability to design creative lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards learners with additional needs.
  • Passionate about inspiring creativity through music.
  • Collaborative approach when working with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development.
