Our client is a specialised company enabling innovation businesses to successfully access the R+D Tax Credit system. It is a highly successful and entrepreneurial business that has thrived on business agility and sales drive. The company has an enviable track record of successful claims and has developed a deep understanding of how innovation businesses can work most effectively with the R+D Tax Credit system.
The Role
The key goals include the recruitment and development of key service partners enabling professional service partners to refer their clients to the company as if it were their back-office. Professional service segments include IP lawyers, Accountants, VCs, Private Equity, Commercial Bankers, Insolvency, Accelerators, etc. Selecting the most suitable key partners within those categories is vital. Developing the value proposition and narrative most suitable for each type of partner is crucial and the PDM will research the potential partner segments to understand the specific nuances, language, type of interaction, challenges etc for each segment and niche. The PDM will be responsible for achieving a quarterly quota for revenue as agreed on an annual basis with the Managing Director. The PDM will work closely with the Marketing Manager to coordinate communications to selected target partners including through seminars and industry journals, events and online forums.
The Candidate Qualifications
An undergraduate degree is preferable, and a second degree is desirable. IT, Marketing, Accounting or Business studies would be beneficial, but not essential. Relevant experience will include a minimum five years’ experience in B2B professional services environment. Previous roles may include sales, business development, consulting or marketing.
