The predicted salary is between 27500 - 32500 £ per year.

We are seeking dedicated LANTRA M5 Traffic Management Operatives to undertake quality, safe setups and manual controls in various environments across Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex. We are prepared to consider LANTRA M1/M2 operatives too but at the rate of £13.25 basic and £16.10 overtime. The role involves managing traffic, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with team members and the public. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where pride in your work and safety awareness are paramount.

Duties

  • Setup of traffic management sites for 12D works, primarily temporary traffic lights and road closures.
  • Dismantle traffic management setups in a timely and safe fashion.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on traffic management setups to ensure proper compliance.
  • Manage the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around work sites or event areas.
  • Assist with battery changes and light swaps.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and the public regarding traffic arrangements.
  • Undertake daily paperwork using our bespoke app.
  • Respond promptly to any safety concerns or emergencies on site.

Skills

  • Strong management skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in maintenance of traffic management systems.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Organisational ability to plan routes, manage resources, and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations related to traffic management operations.

  • LANTRA M1/M2- M5 Qualification (required)
