We are recruiting a home-based Regional Surveyor to cover the South Coast Patch. In this role, you will take ownership of your region and provide specialist property advice to the Group. This includes carrying out mortgage valuations and security assessments on residential investment properties to support the Buy-to-Let (BTL) business and wider Group functions. Join the team as a home based Regional Surveyor covering some of the most sought after postcodes - BH, PO, SO and SP.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Local Expertise
- Act as the primary property expert for a defined geographic area
- Manage valuation flow and respond to local queries
- Provide oversight of external valuer input and recommendations
- Panel & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local valuation partners
- Offer guidance and support to ensure consistency and quality of outputs
- Professional Advisory
- Deliver credible, professional advice as the local representative of the organisation
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards, internal policies, and industry regulations
- Market Insight
- Stay current on local market trends, legislative changes, and specialist sectors (e.g. HMOs)
- Provide informed analysis to support lending and investment decisions
- Case Support
- Assist with property-related casework including rent receiverships, repossessions, and disposals
- Strategic Contribution
- Produce market reports and local intelligence to inform wider business strategy
- Contribute to specialist areas such as development finance, due diligence, and structured lending
- Internal Collaboration
- Participate in team meetings and CPD sessions to share knowledge and maintain professional standards
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED?
- Professional surveying qualification: MRICS including active registration on the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme.
- Up-to-date CPD.
- A full clean driving license and willingness to travel across the allocated region.
- Previous experience working with HMOs.
