TML are exclusively partnered with a family office in their search for a Property Asset & Facilities Manager to oversee and optimise a growing mixed-use, residential and commercial property portfolio. This role is designed to plan and manage assets in line with the client’s objectives. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will effectively combine the responsibilities of a Property & Facilities Manager and an Asset Manager, reporting directly to the stakeholders, principals, or directors as appropriate. Our client currently holds a portfolio of approximately 25 assets across the South East and wider UK, comprising roughly 60% commercial, 30% residential, and 10% development properties. This portfolio is expanding. The role is inherently diverse, offering a dynamic workload across property, facilities, and asset management functions—no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities for the Property Asset & Facilities Manager
- Manage the existing property portfolio using property management software.
- Achieve financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Prepare and issue service charges where applicable.
- Maintain properties by addressing tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, and performing regular maintenance.
