A leading UK property practice is seeking a Business Rates professional at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level to join their prestigious London offices.
Our client is one of the fastest-growing property consultancies in the UK, renowned for staff happiness, satisfaction, and career development. They manage a national portfolio, with around 65% of the workload focused on London and the Southeast, particularly within the M25. The caseload is diverse, advising a wide range of clients across multiple asset classes, including self-storage and infrastructure.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Supporting the delivery of rating instructions across a diverse portfolio
- Identifying opportunities using available data and market insight
- Building positive and proactive relationships with clients
- Assisting with negotiations and appeals
- Staying up to date with relevant legislation and market developments
- Working closely with senior colleagues to develop your expertise and client exposure
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED?
- Prior experience in business rates
- Ideally 2β4 yearsβ PQE within property or surveying
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organisational, planning, and problem-solving ability
- A results-driven approach
- London-based or able to commute easily
- A full UK driving licence
