Are you an MRICS qualified Commercial Valuer looking to build and lead your own division in London? A well established, multi disciplinary property practice with a national footprint (300+ staff, 35+ offices, circa £25m turnover) is hiring a Commercial Valuation Partner to launch and grow its London Commercial Valuation team.

This firm sits on all major lender and institutional valuation panels and carries significant PI cover, giving you a fully credentialed platform to win top tier instructions from day one, in a brand new West End office.

About The Role

This is a rare build and lead opportunity to establish and grow a Commercial Valuation division in London, with a clear path to scaling the offering nationally. This is a Commercial Valuation focused role, though there is scope to retain residential valuation work if that is part of your existing skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the Commercial Valuation offering in London, working alongside an existing team of 4 valuers, with a clear mandate to grow the team further
  • Utilise the firm's existing presence on all major lender and valuation panels to convert relationships into fee earning instructions
  • Work closely with the Head of Office leading London's growth, ensuring a joined up, cross service approach across residential, development and commercial valuation
  • Collaborate with the firm's Head of Retail Agency, who is also relocating to London to build out that service line
  • Build, mentor and expand the Commercial Valuation team as instruction volumes grow
  • Take on responsibility for growing valuation capability into other UK regions over time

Skills and Experience Required

  • MRICS qualified / RICS Registered Valuer
  • Strong track record in Commercial Valuation, including loan security valuation, secured lending, RICS Red Book valuation, rating or portfolio valuation
  • Existing network and credibility in the London commercial property market
  • Experience building or scaling a team or division, or clear ambition to do so
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a genuine "build it" mandate
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative approach
