TML is partnered with a leading national real estate consultancy with a network of offices across the UK. They serve a variety of clients, covering commercial, residential, and rural sectors, working with investors, developers, and occupiers in both the public and private sectors. A key growth area for them is Lease Advisory, particularly in their London office. Consequently, our client seeks a commercially focused lease advisory specialist, from Associate to Partner level, to help expand this business unit.
In this lease advisory role, you will focus on the industrial sector, where the firm has a significant market presence, but you will also have the opportunity to work on other asset classes. As a lease advisory expert, you will report to the divisional equity partner and have excellent opportunities for career progression within a firm that prioritizes staff happiness.

As a lease advisory specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Industrial and Logistics Agency team and act proactively. You will be recognized as an expert in your field, with a particular focus on the southeastern industrial sector. Your responsibilities will include advising on rent reviews, lease renewals, dispute resolution, and lease regears.
What do you need to be successful as a Lease Advisory Associate / Partner?
- Experience in Commercial Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Lease Restructuring/Lease Surrender, Dispute Resolution (including experience as an Expert Witness for Arbitrations, Independent Expert Determinations, and Court proceedings is advantageous)
- Some leadership experience to help develop the team
- Experience analyzing leases and a strong knowledge of landlord and tenant acts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in report writing
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology
- MRICS qualification
- Registered Valuer (advantageous)
- Relevant degree or qualification in surveying, real estate, or a related field
