TML Recruitment are partnered with a leading UK wide property practice in their search for a Commercial Property Manager / Senior Property Manager to work on the South East patch of their National Property Management team. You will be based out of their High Wycombe or Ashford office; however, the client only requires you in the office 1-2 times per week at most as they value their staff being with clients and giving them flexibility and autonomy.
Given the strategic growth mandate, they now require additional expertise to join their fast-growing team and report into the overall head. This role will either suit an established Service Charge Property Management Surveyor (commercial or Block) or an experienced commercial property manager looking for ultimate flexibility in their role, yet retaining a desire to continue their career path with definite fast progress toward partnership on offer.
What makes this role really interesting is that it offers end-to-end property management opportunities, so there is an ability on occasion to get involved with lease renewals and regears given some of their clients prefer '1 stop shops'. At present, the business has a mixed portfolio of clients with varying commercial asset classes, including offices, industrial, and leisure. However, there is certainly a strong leaning to Industrial, having some of the largest globally known clients under their belt including Amazon and Mileway. Clients they manage are typically family investment companies, but they work with pension funds, private investors, and local authorities. The South East team has around 8 Property Managers, 1 FM, and 2 Administrators.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
This position will include day-to-day property management as well as running a mixture of service charge regimes, dealing with buildings insurance, major works, contractor management, and varying other matters. In addition to this, if you're passionate about client service, there will be client management/leadership opportunities where you will get fully involved in all aspects of managing a commercial property portfolio.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED?
- MRICS (desirable, but not essential)
- Strong experience within the commercial sector.
- Either experience as a strong Property Manager or Block Manager wanting to change roles.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage workloads and strong time management skills.
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team or on your own.
- Driving license essential.
- A willingness to learn on the job, grow, and develop.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Company car/car allowance
- Company Bonus
- Excellent holiday of 25-30 days based on tenure + birthday day.
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.
- Access to a 24/7 mental health & wellbeing service.
- An online perk portal.
- Volunteering Leave days.
