TML Recruitment is partnered with a leading UK-wide property practice in their search for an Associate Partner – Commercial Valuation to be based out of their prestigious Bristol offices. Our client is currently one of the fastest-growing property consultancies in the UK and is renowned for staff happiness, satisfaction, and career development. With a strategic growth mandate across multiple markets, they now seek additional expertise to join their expanding team and report directly to the overall head of the division. The team currently comprises of 7 professionals. The team manages a portfolio covering the whole of whole Southwest and South Wales region with key clients consisting of all the main lending banks, challenger banks, solicitors, accountants, local authorities and public bodies, charities, educational establishments and individuals. Projects this role would likely be involved in: Secured lending valuations for all the main commercial asset classes. There will also be mentoring opportunities to support those at the beginning of their career. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Work within the existing valuation team in Bristol, providing valuations for financial reporting purposes as well as loan security and other valuation requirements. Contribute to the management of the commercial valuations team in Bristol Contribution to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the Commercial valuation sector. Take on responsibility for client management for a number of key clients Assist in the delivery of major projects. Financial and client reporting. Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards. Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the company vision. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED? MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer (preferably) Good knowledge of the local property markets A full driving licence Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and within specific agreed fees. Proficient in valuation and Microsoft office software Willing to work in support of the wider team, whilst also taking responsibility for their own caseload.
