TML Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with one of our longest standing clients, a major UK, multi-disciplinary property practice that are in significant growth mode. We are assisting them in their search for a Valuation Partner to aid the growth of their London based operations.
This role is essentially to lead commercial valuation for London reporting into the overall head of commercial valuation. You will be responsible for a variety of commercial valuations across London and Greater London, covering a variety of asset classes, typically offices, retail and industrial buildings/units working with banks, private and corporate clients, and professional contacts. Your main mandate will be to aid the growth of the business unit through fee earning, business development and helping to mentor a small team. The national valuation team has around 15 fee earners with London being a small portion of this.

- Set the example and enforce best practice relating to audit and compliance responsibilities.
- Drive a client first mentality, offering the highest level of service to all clients.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities. Exploit cross-sell opportunities within the service line.
- Participate fully in the company’s client development activity.
What do you need to be successful?
- Understanding of commercial property Valuation, ideally for loan security and balance sheet purposes.
- Ideally understanding residential and development valuation.
- Track record and knowledge of undertaking Commercial Property Valuations and Valuation Appraisals, including the use of KEL and Argus (or similar) valuation software.
- Mentoring capability and leadership qualities.
- A track record of developing new business.
