Senior Business Development Manager – Dispute Resolution
We are excited to once again be partnered with a global leader in the legal space, searching for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead their flagship Dispute Resolution practice. The firm has a rich legacy within the space and is the number one firm in this practice group. This person will spearhead the firm\’s practice strategy for their UK and EMEA functions, developing key strategies, growing their international scope and taking a proactive approach to commercial and client growth.
This is a fantastic role for an established Senior Manager that is passionate about Dispute Resolution and adjacent practice groups, and can impact genuine commercial growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement key business development strategies that directly contribute to improved client relationships and international revenue streams for the team.
- Act as the main point of contact for partners within the region, collaborating on aligning practice strategies to support P&L management.
- Lead on practice‑specific marketing content, campaigns and events to ensure enhanced engagement with priority clients and growing the firm\’s global reputation.
- Line manage a high‑performing team of five across the firm\’s UK offices, ensuring all strategies are executed effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong senior marketing and business development background across the legal or wider professional services industry, with a strong understanding of Dispute Resolution.
- Proactive and sharp senior leader able to develop and execute innovative and successful business development and marketing strategies.
- Highly collaborative with various stakeholders including fee earners and partners, able to articulate key business growth strategies in a compelling way that inspires stakeholders.
- Strong people leader who can showcase a strong level of influence and be accountable for all tactical execution of strategies.
