This role sits at the centre of a fast-scaling people advisory firm that specialises in assessment, development, interim, and search services reporting directly into SLT. Operating as a trusted partner to its clients, the business focuses on hiring and developing brilliant people.

As the company enters its next phase of growth, this role is responsible for developing and executing a sector-specific marketing strategy and delivering a focused lead generation plan aligned with core business objectives. You will own the systems and processes that underpin all marketing and business development campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement across content, website, email, social, and events to drive lead generation, engagement, and commercial impact.

A significant part of the role involves building and maintaining reporting frameworks that track, analyse, and report on campaign and event performance, directly linking marketing activity to commercial outcomes and tracking metadata. You will also lead the planning, management, and end-to-end delivery of high-profile marketing and business development events —such as client events, roundtables, and webinars—ensuring they are developed cross-functionally from concept through to post-event follow-up.

Alongside this, you will continuously identify and run experiments to optimise marketing spend based on results and market insights, working closely with consultants to generate compelling, high-quality content—including blogs, case studies, and insights—while maintaining a consistent brand message across all channels.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a marketing role with responsibility for both strategy and hands-on delivery, ideally within an SME or professional services environment. You will be highly comfortable working with marketing systems and automation infrastructure, ideally with experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns using Salesforce, Marketo, and content management systems like WordPress.

Confident operating in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments, you will thrive in a culture that offers hybrid flexibility and prioritises trust, collaboration, and personal progression. A strong analytical mindset, combined with an eye for design, sharp copywriting skills for diverse audiences, and a firm grasp of commercial realities, is essential.

Above all, you will value a customer-focused, team-player mindset and be comfortable adapting, experimenting, and pivoting your strategy when market insights suggest a better path forward.
