We are looking for a Director of Business Development to establish and lead a brand-new sales function focused on expanding our presence in multiple industries across the UK and Europe. What You’ll Do

  1. Lead Sales Strategy: Design and implement a commercial sales framework that accelerates growth in healthcare logistics.
  2. Drive Business Growth: Identify and secure high-value opportunities in order-to-cash, warehousing, and field inventory solutions for medical device and diagnostics manufacturers.
  3. Build High-Value Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key industry decision-makers, positioning the business as a market leader in healthcare supply chains.
  4. Shape Market Expansion: Conduct in-depth market analysis, leveraging insights to refine go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning.
  5. Establish a Scalable Sales Function: Lay the foundations for a high-performing sales and business development team, driving long-term success.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Sales Leadership: Proven experience in leading and scaling sales teams within logistics, or supply chain solutions.
  2. Strategic Sales Expertise: 5+ years’ experience in solution selling and business development, with a strong track record of closing high-value deals.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, and order-to-cash supply chains.
  4. Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage bid processes, and drive revenue growth.
  5. Influential Leadership: Exceptional ability to engage, inspire, and influence senior stakeholders at executive level.
  6. CRM & Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in CRM systems, global account management, and market analysis.
  7. Languages: Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
