An exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, with experience in estate administration, to join a highly regarded and established firm of solicitors with offices in Hartlepool, Peterlee, Durham and Wingate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake fee earning work including will drafting, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and Court of Protection matters.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
- Maintain accurate, orderly, and up-to-date files in line with the firm’s policies on file management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies, including Lexcel standards.
Person requirements:
- Solicitor / Legal Executive with experience of all aspects of private client work, in particular, estate administration.
- 1+ years PQE in private client work within a working environment.
- Ability to run own caseload from start to finish with sound knowledge and a proven track record of providing legal advice and assistance in private client matters.
- Experience of using a case management system together with practical knowledge and use of IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills together with an organised and methodical approach to working with excellent attention to detail.
- A polite, cheerful attitude, particularly when meeting clients.
- A committed and self-motivated individual who can work as part of a professional, friendly team.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: To be agreed depending on experience
Location: Hartlepool, Peterlee or Durham
Working hours: Full time or part time hours available
