Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Lead to join our rapidly growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business that align with our company goals and objectives. As Senior Sales Lead you will leverage your interpersonal skills and industry expertise to identify potential brand partnership opportunities for TMG\’s growing portfolio of assets.
Role Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters, through securing and leading new business meetings
- Qualify new business discussions and close brand partnerships deal to achieve your personal annual target
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to develop and produce partnership strategies that drive engagement and maximise value for both parties
- Maintain regular communication and addressing any partnership issues that arise
- Negotiation of partnership agreements and contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions
- Oversee contract agreements and consult legal departments when appropriate
- Create sales materials such as pitch decks, making updates and changes where necessary
- Successfully pitch creative and strategic presentations to win new business
- Utilisation of LinkedIn, social media, and networking at events to source new leads and prospects
- Manage and maintain the partnerships CRM pipeline, to ensure best practices and good data hygiene
Candidate Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in music brand partnerships (sales roles)
- Personal network of global brand partners in Europe, US and Africa
- Strong affinity and deep knowledge of the Afrobeats and Amapiano culture
- Self-motivated, reliable and someone who thrives on cultivating connections
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to ensure all outputs are of the highest quality
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including tact and assertiveness, and the ability to communicate at all levels in a complex environment
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to work with senior contacts and co-ordinate the activities of staff and contributors at all levels both internally and externally
- Resilience and ability to tackle challenges constructively and find creative ways forward
