About TMF Group
TMF Group is a leading provider of critical administrative services, helping clients invest and operate safely around the world. Our 12,000 experts and 125 offices in 87 jurisdictions worldwide serve corporates, financial institutions, asset managers, private clients, and family offices, providing the combination of accounting, tax, payroll, fund administration, compliance, and entity management services essential to global business success.
Discover the Role
This role sits at the centre of the Group CFO's agenda. It combines two things: owning and driving the Group's finance transformation programme and providing the operating leverage to the CFO. This is not a purely strategic or advisory role; there is real execution required. It is also not a pure project coordination role; deep enough understanding of finance topics is required to challenge outputs and add analytical value. We are looking for someone who wants proximity to a complex Group CFO agenda early in their career and is willing to contribute time and effort. In this role, you will report directly to the CFO. We are open to candidates that will work from our London, Amsterdam, or Frankfurt office.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and track progress across the finance transformation agenda
- Own the programme office: milestones, issue logs, workstream leads, escalation paths
- Track and performance measure the outcome
- Identify where workstreams are falling behind and push for resolution before issues become problems
- Act as an extension of the CFO
- Prepare ad hoc analysis, business cases, and decision papers at short notice
- Follow up on CFO commitments and OKRs across the finance disciplines
- Support preparation for board meetings and investor and lender interactions
Key Requirements
- Proven project management skills — you drive to completion without being chased
- Proactive by default — you spot the gap and fill it rather than waiting to be told
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and across a complex international matrix
- Finance background — either qualified accountant, FP&A, or corporate finance; you understand the numbers, not just the slides
- Strong PowerPoint storytelling — you can take a messy brief and produce a clean, logical narrative
- Solid Excel and analytical capability — comfortable with financial models, variance analysis, and data interrogation
Preferred
- Experience in a PE-backed environment or professional services firm
- Exposure to ERP implementations or post-merger finance integration
- Prior experience in a Chief of Staff or transformation office role
