As an Assistant Manager, Fund Services, you will support the delivery of company secretarial and fund administration services for a portfolio of Private Equity clients. Acting as a key liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, you will ensure the efficient management of corporate governance activities, regulatory compliance, and client deliverables. You will also support and mentor junior team members while working closely with senior leadership to maintain exceptional service standards and foster long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Private Equity Fund clients, acting as a key point of contact for Administration, corporate governance and company secretarial matters ;
- Coordinate Board meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, resolutions, and corporate documentation ;
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements across client entities ;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders ;
- Oversee client deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and service is delivered to the highest standard ;
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development ;
- Assist with resource planning, work allocation, and recruitment activities within the team ;
- Support complex corporate events, including incorporations, restructurings, liquidations, and partnership lifecycle activities ;
- Drive process improvements and promote best practices across the Fund Services function ;
- Contribute to strategic team and business initiatives while supporting operational excellence.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Fund Administration, Private Equity, or a similar financial services environment ;
- Proven client relationship management skills with a strong focus on service excellence ;
- Previous people management or team leadership experience is highly desirable ;
- Proficient knowledge of corporate governance, company secretarial, and fund and company administration activities ;
- Solid understanding of legal, regulatory, compliance, and commercial principles ;
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills ;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality results ;
- Fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
