Discover the Role
As a Funds Services, Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services to a portfolio of fund clients. You will manage board and shareholder matters, support complex corporate transactions, build strong client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor on compliance and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to the development of junior team members while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and document board and shareholder meetings, including minute-taking, drafting, circulation, approval, and filing
- Draft board and shareholder minutes, as well as written resolutions
- Validate and sign off statutory registers
- Manage company liquidation and dissolution processes
- Oversee the establishment and termination of limited partnerships
- Support the onboarding of new client entities through the Business Acceptance Committee
- Build strong relationships with key client contacts through regular communication and timely task delivery
- Attend client meetings, including visits to client offices when required
- Liaise with clients and advisors on complex compliance and accounting matters
- Supervisor and mentor junior team members
- Identify and support development opportunities for administrators and trainees
Key Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years of experience within a Funds environment
- Previous people management experience is highly desirable
- Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Sound knowledge of company secretarial, accounting, audit, and cash management matters
- Strong understanding of commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
