At Brookvale Groby, we have a new position open for a Cleaning Supervisor to join a friendly team at BGLC.

Job overview

  • To manage the work of the cleaning staff which will include training, instructing and supervising.
  • To assist, as part of the team, the cleaning of all areas where necessary to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • To assist with lettings and hold a set of keys for opening and locking up procedures.
  • To have responsibility for the practical organisation of the day to day cleaning operation and to manage the standard of cleaning across the school, carrying out cleaning audits and report findings.
  • To take responsibility for all assigned cleaning equipment and protective clothing.
  • Maintain cleaning stock levels and raise orders for stock for the academic year.
  • To ensure cleaning staff are aware of responsibilities for Health and Safety measures designed to protect self, other staff and users of the premises.
  • Carry out My Professional Development conversations with team.

Hours of work

20 hours per week term time plus 2 weeks additional hours; 14:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday.
