At Brookvale Groby, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with an interest in Science to join our friendly team, working in busy Prep Rooms across two buildings. The successful candidate will support teaching staff to deliver practical lessons.
Job overview: To be the first point of contact for students seeking assistance with day-to-day matters, including attendance, first aid, welfare needs and general enquiries.
Hours of work: 27.5 hours per week term time plus 3 days for training; 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday, however some flexibility is possible.
Job requirements:
- Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
- Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Science knowledge sufficient to understand the school's science curriculum requirements
- Experience of working in an educational or Science laboratory setting
- First aid qualification or willingness to undertake training
