The Mead Educational Trust has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated School Counsellor to join our Trust, to be responsible for the confidential counselling services to pupils, taking on caseloads of pupils identified as part of a graduated response to mental health across the Trust, providing a high-quality counselling service to pupils experiencing a wide range of emotional problems.

We are seeking a dedicated School Counsellor to join our team at The Mead Educational Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high-quality, confidential counselling service to pupils across our schools, supporting their emotional wellbeing and mental health as part of a graduated response. You will work closely with pupils, families, and staff to deliver guidance, advice, and interventions that make a real difference. This role is pivotal in promoting positive mental health and safeguarding across our Trust.

The hours are: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am-4.00 pm, Friday 8.00am-3.30 pm 37 hours a week 38.6 weeks per annum. You will have a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

School Counsellor - Grade 8 Points 23-26 (£39,485 - £42,1310 FTE) Pro rata salary £33,721.71 - £35,981.49 per annum. Interviews will commence the week beginning: 8th December (tbc)
