Job overview
- To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials and liaise with the senior cleaner/manager.
- To carry out cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, emptying bins, washing, dusting and polishing surfaces, including floors, walls, tables, etc.
- To take responsibility for all assigned cleaning equipment and protective clothing.
- To follow the appropriate instructions and COSHH regulations when using cleaning materials.
- To report to the premises team any defects seen, likely to affect security e.g., broken windows, window catches.
- To ensure that the correct equipment is used for each specific cleaning task.
- To provide refreshments for pre-arranged meetings where appropriate.
- To be flexible to cover other areas if required, due to the absence of colleagues.

Hours of work
15 hours per week term time plus 2 weeks additional summer closure clean. Hours; 15:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday.
