Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
- Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery.
- Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions, document their progress and any changes in functional status or treatment tolerance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.
