Overview
The i Paper is growing its social video team at a pivotal moment of expansion. We are seeking a creative, organised and fast-moving Social Video Producer to help us scale up distinctive, shareable short-form video across The i Paper's lifestyle and money journalism. You will work across The i Paper's social sub-brand accounts, How I Live and Money Coach, sourcing, shooting and editing video for both channels with the aim of driving rapid follower growth.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, shooting and editing video for The i Paper’s lifestyle and money journalism channels, How I Live and Money Coach.
- Developing ideas, scripting, arranging shoots, filming, editing and publishing videos from start to finish.
- Managing multiple video projects simultaneously in a fast-paced digital news environment.
- Collaborating with in-house journalists and external contributors, and stepping in front of the camera when needed to voice or present formats.
Qualifications
- Experience sourcing, filming, editing and publishing video in a fast-paced digital news environment; newsroom experience preferred.
- Strong editorial instinct, storytelling skills and the ability to create standout short-form video at volume for digital platforms.
- Self-starter capable of prioritising tasks and working effectively with limited supervision.
