You’ll be joining Absolute Radio, home of Real Music Matters, where we create high-quality, engaging content across a network reaching over 5.3 million listeners. As part of a passionate and creative programming team, you’ll work alongside presenters, producers and technical experts to deliver award‑winning audio and digital content. As a Producer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the sound and success of Absolute Radio. You’ll be at the heart of delivering the No Repeat Guarantee throughout the week and producing flagship Saturday shows, creating compelling multi-platform content that resonates with our audience.
Your role: You’ll produce engaging live and pre-recorded content across Absolute Radio, helping to deliver standout programming for a national audience.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Producing live studio output and pre-recorded shows
- Developing high-quality content for the No Repeat Guarantee and flagship Saturday programming
- Working closely with presenters, technical teams and contributors
- Using strong editorial judgement to ensure content is accurate, fair and compliant
- Responding to audience feedback and analytics to optimise content performance
- Planning and organising production schedules, including weekend working
- Operating studio equipment and editing software
- Generating fresh ideas to keep content innovative and engaging
- Supporting branded content initiatives and commercial delivery
The skills you will bring:
- Experience in national broadcast radio or audio production
- Strong editorial judgement and creative thinking
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with confidence working alongside talent
- Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to deadlines
- Technical proficiency in studio equipment and audio editing software
- Strong understanding of integrated branded content
- Awareness of regulatory standards (e.g., Ofcom Broadcasting Code)
