As an experienced Producer, you’ll be a creative lead on one of the UK’s largest interview podcasts with a large female audience, owning guest booking, editorial standards and production delivery from first contact through to release. You’ll book and look after high-profile guests, edit audio and video episodes, manage an Assistant Producer and work closely with the Executive Producer, host, talent and partners to shape a flagship Sony Music production.
What you'll do:
- Lead guest booking end-to-end, identifying and pitching guests, liaising with agents, publicists and publishers, and negotiating recording and release dates.
- Edit video and audio episodes, leading on tone, pacing and structure, and signing off final cuts ahead of release.
- Manage an Assistant Producer, overseeing and quality-checking guest research and briefing materials, and delegating editing tasks where appropriate.
- Run production delivery, including shoot logistics, compliance paperwork, promotional asset coordination, cross-functional collaboration and maintaining clear guest, release and asset systems.
- Lead creative, distribution and collaboration with PR and social teams
- Contribute to pitches and the development of new shows, formats, and collaborating with other programme teams
Who you are:
- A creative leader with strong editorial judgement, who understands what makes a compelling conversation and can brief a host with insight and care.
- Demonstrated experience in audio and video production, ideally on talent-led interview, entertainment or culture formats.
- Excellent communicator who builds trusted relationships with talent, agents, publicists, publishers and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail across scheduling, legal paperwork, production systems and asset delivery.
- Abreast of popular culture, with a great contact book of agents, managers and talent
