About The Role

Based in the UK, you will be part of the team supporting the creative development of original content for Amazon MGM Studios. The UK has become a key production hub for Amazon MGM Studios, delivering award winning, critically acclaimed and commercially successful originals including Clarkson’s Farm, All or Nothing and Last One Laughing: UK. You will be instrumental in continuing this momentum by helping identify, develop, and shepherd high-quality series from concept through production.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in Unscripted development and Production.
  • Background from a major broadcaster, studio, or production company in the UK.
  • Excellent creative instincts with the ability to help identify commercially viable content that resonates with UK audiences.
  • Proven track record supporting multiple development projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong relationships within the UK Television industry.
  • Experience of working with top tier Talent.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support the development of multiple series projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate closely with production partners and talent throughout the development and production process.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with top UK creative talent and production companies.
  • Provide creative notes and development expertise across all stages of production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Business Affairs, Legal, PR and Marketing teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience as a creative executive.
  • Experience in series development.
  • Experience in unscripted development and current programming in network/studio and production company roles.
  • Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs.
  • Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production.
  • Experience working as a producer, creative executive, or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the US media landscape.
  • Experience developing content that is award nominated, or from a broadcast network or streaming platform.
