The role of BIT (Broadcast IT) Field Engineer is responsible for planning and executing the engineering aspects for projects, live productions, and remote operations, as assigned to Global Field Engineering by our News and Sports clients.
The role will occasionally be responsible for developing technology plans, organizing resources, providing technical oversight and guidance to staff, and ensuring appropriate technical approaches are implemented on remote operations.
This position is suitable for a qualified and experienced Broadcast Engineer, who will apply their technical skills in supporting Sports and News production operations in the field.
The post will be based on a nominal 40 hour /5-day week, although actual working hours and shifts may vary considerably, depending on location and production requirements.
