The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
We are looking for a talented and proactive individual who will be planning and running our Sports strand of Original programming, they will also be working to expand our ventures into sponsorship & beyond. Our ideal candidate will have a wealth of long and short form online video experience and be able to direct the biggest in sports talent and sports fans. They’ll be able to confidently deal with sponsorship briefs and have loads of creative ideas. They\’ll also be able to multitask, hit tight turnaround deadlines and can work closely with production – these are all fundamental skills within this role.
What the opportunity looks like:
Lead the end-to-end production of digital sport content, from concept to activation
You will lead cross-platform activation for all Sport shows across all platforms in our ecosystem, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, X and TikTok etc
Manage and mentor a small Sport creative team
You’ll be working with top PR/brands/ clients to develop and deliver sport sponsorship offerings for them
You’ll be pitching and developing new ideas that will work for the LADbible Originals channels – Sport portfolio
You will work closely with production who will lead the practical execution of the ideas
On shoots, you’ll be the lead editorial voice – directing and interviewing, seeing your vision through
You’ll edit produce, working with an editor to craft the final deliverables for all platforms
You’ll work closely with our Talent team to ensure we are locking in the best opportunities
You’re able to work independently across multiple projects at different stages including; concept development, directing, scripts and edits
You’ll enjoy bouncing off a team, sharing ideas and working together to make the best content for our audience
Ensure content meets brand, compliance, and rights requirements.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adapt strategies accordingly.
Stay up-to-date with evolving digital platforms, formats, and audience behaviour.
Skills and experience we’d like you to have:
Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Producer in digital sports content, ideally for a major broadcaster, digital publisher, or sports brand
Deep knowledge of major sports (e.g., football, WWE etc…) and a genuine passion for storytelling in sport
You’ll be familiar with dealing with top sports talent and their agents
Strong editorial judgment and a clear understanding of what makes shareable, platform-specific content
You’ll have worked with Sport PRs and brands, specifically dealing with sponsored content
You will be able to demonstrate superb planning skills and the ability to manage several projects at one time
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, real-time production environment
Ability to think creatively under pressure and deliver content at speed
Understanding of digital rights management and licensing
Familiarity with data-driven content strategies and interpreting analytics
Experience in on-location shoots and live production is a plus
Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad if required
