Film Production Assistant

An enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our film team for a short contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for film production within a leading creative agency and learn from industry experts. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with a \”can-do\” attitude, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills. No prior experience is necessary.

What you’ll be doing

As the Production Assistant, you will provide support to the Production team, assisting in and learning about all aspects of film production. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
Assisting with pre-production tasks such as research, location scouting, and casting support.
Providing on-set support during filming, including managing equipment, coordinating schedules and acting as on-set runner.
Assisting with post-production tasks such as copying rushes, logging footage and organising assets for edit.
Maintaining production documentation and ensuring all files are organised and up-to-date.
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
Assisting with budget tracking and expense reporting.
General administrative support to the production team.
Assisting with the preparation of presentations and reports.

What we require from you:

An interest film production and a desire to learn.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and \”can-do\” attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Previous experience or current related study is desirable.
Basic knowledge of film production equipment and processes (desirable).
