We are seeking a Creative Assistant to support our IP Scouting EMEA team based in London. The successful candidate will navigate priorities effectively, take independent initiative, adapt to shifting project needs, and manage diverse responsibilities with a strong organisational focus and attention to detail. This role involves working in a dynamic environment requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving. Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Prepare reading lists for the team and to read and to prepare regular memos updating internal teams on the status of projects Assess projects independently on behalf of the team Input project data, such as pitches and submissions, into internal systems. Support creative leads by preparing presentations using Google slides Maintain effective communication internally with cross-functional teams and externally with Book Scouts, Agents, production companies, Producers, Writers, and Directors. Work collaboratively with our content teams across EMEA and with the IP Scouting Team in EMEA. Support Team Leaders with ad hoc projects such as organising and supporting events Manage complex calendars for multiple executives, including scheduling and confirming meetings both internally and externally Coordinate travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally Be the team "go-to-expert" for both internal and external systems.

Qualifications 1+ Years as an assistant supporting senior-level creative executives, agents or producers or experience with administrative roles with a background in the media or publishing industry. An understanding of the creative processes within the industry, particularly with regard to adaptation Having a genuine interest in storytelling, series and film to be able to understand and support the creative work Fluency in English. The ability to speak another European language would be an advantage. Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information Technically minded with experience in mastering multiple systems. Ability to respond after hours for important, timely, or urgent matters Team player who operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Understanding of how to prioritise and respond accordingly Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Google Mail Prior experience reading scripts or books and providing coverage is preferred Enthusiastic about Netflix culture: our culture is unique and we live by our values
