You’ll work across brand films, corporate shoots and live multi-camera events, hands on from day one, with a clear path to develop into a camera, production or post specialism. This is a role you can make your own. We want someone who enjoys the technical craft and wants to build a career in video production with opportunities to work towards a career path in video production or post production.
What you’ll do:
- Rig and derig camera, lighting, sound and vision kit safely and to direction, in the studio and on location.
- Operate cameras and technical equipment across live and pre-recorded content.
- Step into camera assistant and runner duties on location shoots.
- Support our senior crew through production and post production.
- Keep our equipment inventory healthy, maintained and ready to go.
- Coordinate external kit hire and manage collection and delivery.
Essential:
- A genuine interest in filming and the technical craft of production.
- Reliable, calm and methodical, with the composure that live work demands.
- A willingness to learn, take ownership and grow into a specialism.
- A team-first attitude, with clear communication and no job too small.
- Comfortable with the physical side of rigging, and with travel and the irregular hours video production brings.
- Proven experience in media production (qualification, showreel, work experience).
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- An interest in live, multi-camera or streaming production.
- Hands-on experience from short films, university projects, freelance work or events.
- Some experience with an editing system such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and an interest in post production.
- A basic understanding of cabling, signal flow and studio or broadcast kit.
- Camera operating experience and an eye for framing.
