Senior Pension Solicitor in Manchester

TM-Legal are looking for a Junior Solicitor to join the team in Manchester. TM Legal are seeking a UK-based junior solicitor to strengthen our defended litigation capability. The role is required to provide additional qualified legal resource, improve supervision capacity and reduce reliance on a single full-time solicitor within the litigation operations, particularly following the Mazur Judgment and subsequent regulatory guidance requiring authorised individuals to provide meaningful supervision and oversight to all litigation services. Manage the UK Legal Team split between the Manchester and Blackpool offices, and reporting directly to the Head Of Legal Practice (HOLP). Work with the HOLP to help manage and supervise all of TM Legal’s defended litigation activities in the UK and South Africa including providing quality assurance checks, case strategy reviews and legal documentation reviews. Support the review and progression of defended litigation matters, and enforcement applications, including supporting the HOLP with the review and signature of court pleadings and other filed documents. Manage the expanded SME B2B debt recovery services and associated litigation. Experience in litigation, debt recovery, financial services litigation or a similar high-volume legal environment would be beneficial. Confident reviewing pleadings, evidence and litigation correspondence. Supervision or management experience.
