We are seeking a Workday System Administrator to take ownership of our Workday platform and play a pivotal role in optimising HR systems across a growing international business. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail of day-to-day administration and the challenge of delivering continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Workday across HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent.
- Provide first-line support for Workday queries, tickets, and user issues.
- Manage role-based security and ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance.
- Coordinate with external AMS providers, managing escalations, enhancements, and agile delivery cycles.
- Lead on configuration and optimisation, implementing process changes, automation, and new functionality.
- Support Workday release management, including testing, stakeholder communication, and change adoption.
- Build and maintain dashboards, custom reports, and audits to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights.
About You
- Proven, hands-on experience administering and configuring Workday, particularly HCM.
- Strong track record of managing tickets, security, and system queries.
- Comfortable working with external AMS partners and familiar with agile delivery practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Background in HR systems, HR operations, or HR technology within complex organisations.
- Experience supporting global or multi-entity Workday environments.
- Knowledge of Workday reporting tools and advanced reporting.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
