A leading industrial and commercial main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major leisure centre development. This is a high-profile scheme involving complex build elements including swimming pools, sports halls, and community facilities.

The Role:
- As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- You will lead site teams, manage programme, cost, and quality, and ensure the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of a large-scale leisure centre construction project
- Manage site teams including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors
- Take full ownership of programme, budget, and project performance
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards and company procedures
- Oversee complex elements including swimming pools, MEP systems, and specialist installations
- Coordinate design, commercial, and operational teams
- Monitor progress and report to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
- Ensure high standards of quality and successful project handover
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on leisure centres, sports facilities, or large commercial/industrial projects
- Strong experience delivering MEP-heavy or technically complex builds
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability
- Experience managing large subcontractor teams and stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and construction best practice
- Ability to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant construction qualification (Degree / HNC / HND)
- SMSTS and CSCS certifications
- Full UK driving licence
