We are working with a well-established, privately owned civil engineering contractor with a turnover exceeding £100m and a strong track record of sustained growth. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint an Estimator to join their pre-construction team in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Producing accurate take-offs and pricing schedules
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Supporting bid submissions and pre-construction activities
- Working closely with commercial and operational teams
Requirements
- Experience as an Estimator within civil engineering or groundworks
- Strong understanding of pricing, tendering, and pre-construction processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
