We are working with a leading, family-run civil engineering and groundworks contractor who have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the region. They are looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their team as they continue to grow.
The role offers genuine progression opportunities to Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Management depending on experience and performance.
Responsibilities- Manage the commercial and contractual elements of assigned projects
- Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor budgets and project costs, providing regular financial reports
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering and/or groundworks
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts (preferred)
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ambition to progress within a growing business
