Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for upcoming projects.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and risk assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and resolve any commercial disputes.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage your own diary and work with flexibility to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of highways, roads, 278 schemes, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, cost estimating software, and project management tools.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
