We are a well-established groundworks contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team and oversee commercial responsibilities across two active groundworks and civil engineering sites in Warwickshire. This is a 12-month minimum engagement, with strong potential for ongoing work beyond the initial term.
Role Overview:
- Manage all commercial aspects of two groundworks projects
- Subcontractor procurement, measurement, and valuation
- CVRs, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Client liaison and contractual administration
- Site visits as required (both sites located in Warwickshire)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundworks (residential or commercial)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (ideally NEC or JCT)
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with site and office teams
- Comfortable managing multiple packages and subcontractors
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
Contract Details:
- Start: ASAP or by mutual agreement
