Our very well respected client has just landed a long term project in Cambridge.

The project consists of converting a highways and a 278 scheme with a bridge structure.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project that will positively impact the local community.

Role and

Responsibilities: As the Site Agent, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of the project.

Your responsibilities will include

1. Project Oversight: Take charge of the day-to-day management and supervision of the construction site, ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.

2. Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and provide clear guidance to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.

3. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the project.

4. Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, keeping the site hazard-free and promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

Communication: Regularly liaise with the client, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and maintaining a positive working relationship.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer in a similar role within civil engineering projects.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of 278 schemes, deep drainage and a bridge structure
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with subcontractors, team members, and clients.
