- Accurately estimating the costs of construction projects, considering materials, labour, and equipment, to assist in project planning and budgeting.
- Managing and administering contracts, including reviewing and negotiating terms, assessing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitoring project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and implementing effective cost control measures.
- Evaluating and managing contractual claims, including the preparation of claims for extensions of time, variations, and other contractual entitlements.
- Coordinating the preparation of final accounts, including the measurement and valuation of works, negotiation of final settlements, and resolution of any disputes.
- Collaborating with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication, resolve any commercial issues, and support project success.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
