A leading industrial and commercial main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major Data Centre Project. This is a high-profile project involving complex build elements including wet leisure facilities, sports halls, and community spaces.

The Role:
Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations on a large-scale leisure centre project
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades across multiple packages
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and procedures
- Monitor and drive progress against programme milestones
- Maintain high levels of quality control across all works
- Oversee complex elements including swimming pools, MEP services, and specialist installations
- Manage site logistics, materials, and sequencing
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently to maintain programme
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on leisure centres, sports facilities, or large commercial/industrial projects
- Experience with wet leisure, pools, or complex MEP-heavy projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and site teams
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
