A leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on local projects with a well-established business delivering residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes.
The Role: As Site Engineer, you will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, and on programme. You will be working across multiple local sites, supporting the project and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for groundworks and civil engineering packages
- Managing QA, as-built surveys, and technical documentation
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
- Ensuring works are completed to specification and drawings
- Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery
- Supporting health & safety compliance on site
- Checking levels, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer in groundworks or civil engineering
- Strong setting out experience (GPS / Total Station)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good communication and organisational skills
- CSCS card (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
