Role overview:
This is a newly created role designed for the AI era of communications. Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Communications Executive will help grow TM Forum's influence across internal and external audiences by building advocacy programs, creating shareable content, supporting influencer engagement and enabling employees, members and industry voices to amplify key messages. The role combines elements of external communications, social media, internal communications and employee advocacy, and content creation. You will work across TM Forum's global community of members, media partners, executives and employees to increase awareness, engagement and advocacy around our strategic priorities, events and industry initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2-5 years’ communications experience who enjoys storytelling, social media, community building and finding creative ways to extend the reach of great content.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocacy and Influencer Engagement
- Support the development and delivery of TM Forum's influencer and advocacy strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with member advocates, industry influencers, media partners and community champions.
- Identify opportunities to amplify TM Forum content through trusted external voices.
- Coordinate advocacy activities around major campaigns, research launches and industry events.
- Track influencer engagement and advocacy performance to identify new engagement opportunities.
- Employee Advocacy and Internal Engagement
- Help foster a culture of advocacy across TM Forum's global workforce.
- Develop toolkits, messaging and content packs that make it easy for advocates and stakeholders to share TM Forum stories.
- Support internal communications activity that keeps teams informed, engaged and connected to business strategy and priorities.
- Contribute content and communications support for internal channels and programs.
- Work with colleagues across departments to source stories, wins and updates that strengthen employee engagement.
- Events, Campaigns and Community Support
- Support communications and advocacy programs around TM Forum's flagship events and initiatives.
- Help deliver media sponsor programs.
- Develop event content, promotional assets and advocacy materials that encourage employee participation and amplification.
- Executive Communications Support
- Work closely with the Head of Communications and External Communications Manager to build executive profiling programs.
- Assist with speaker programs, social strategy, media opportunities and content to grow executive profiles as industry influencers.
- Measurement and Reporting
- Monitor advocacy, social and engagement metrics.
- Produce regular insights reports on content performance, audience engagement and GEO.
- Use data and insights to recommend improvements and identify new opportunities.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- 2–5 years' experience in a communications, social media (particularly LinkedIn and YouTube), PR, content, internal communications or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong content creation and storytelling abilities.
- Experience supporting social media programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Demonstrable creativity and the ability to turn ideas into engaging content and advocacy opportunities.
- Curiosity about emerging communications trends, platforms and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Willingness to challenge conventional approaches and bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Understanding and interest in LLMs and how they can support delivery output.
- Experience using media intelligence platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Muck Rack) and social media scheduling tools to support content planning, measurement, reporting and media relations activities.

- SEO & GEO experience is desirable.
