The TM Forum Catalyst Operations Coordinator provides essential support to the Catalyst Operations managers and the broader Catalyst program. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of the Catalyst cycle, handling administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and contributing to the overall success of the program. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for supporting innovation.
Responsibilities- Provide operational support to Catalyst project teams (70+ submissions, 50+ final projects, 200+ companies, 1000+ members annually)
- Oversee, manage, and delegate tasks from the shared team mailbox
- Manage CRM system processes and data entry through all stages of the Catalyst cycle (Experience in JIRA and Salesforce preferred)
- Communicate and reinforce timelines and deadlines to keep teams on schedule
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment through clear communication
- Execute and support catalyst activities at live events, including oversight of stage presentations
- Oversee operational communications for the Catalyst team, including weekly check-ins, reminders, cycle deliverables, and timeline updates
- Address administrative needs across all operational functions, providing solutions and support as necessary
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Identify opportunities to improve Catalyst program operational processes and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in business, events or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- At least 1 year of prior experience in event planning / project management / operations
- Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Energetic, proactive attitude; willing to roll up your sleeves
- Calm, composed, and professional under pressure; able to maintain effective relationships with staff, attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse stakeholders
- Passion to have a career in operations
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and contribute effectively within a team
- Willingness to travel (international and domestic), including weekend travel, approximately 15%
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce and Jira experience a plus
