Maths Teacher - The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons that develop students' mathematical understanding and support their progress throughout KS3 and KS4.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching key mathematical concepts, including number, algebra, geometry and statistics
- Preparing KS4 students for GCSE Mathematics assessments and examinations
- Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities
- Assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations
- Encouraging students to develop their confidence, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Creating a supportive classroom environment where students are motivated to learn
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress
