Teacher of Drama - The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Drama lessons, helping students develop their creativity, confidence and practical performance skills.
The school is looking for a teacher who is passionate about Drama and committed to ensuring students have the opportunity to experience and engage with the creative arts.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across the secondary age range
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students to develop their knowledge, creativity and performance skills
- Maintain high expectations of students' behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to the continued development of the Drama and Expressive Arts provision
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
- Support the wider life of the school and its extracurricular activities where appropriate
