We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leyton, Waltham Forest to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a September 2026 start on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher to join a supportive setting, helping pupils prepare for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 and build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for their final years of primary education.

The role

You will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupils' academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for the increased expectations of Year 6 while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum.
