The Role

This school is looking for a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to support young children with autism and developmental needs within a specialist Early Years provision. The successful Early Years SEN Teacher will deliver engaging, play‑based learning tailored to each child's individual developmental stage and EHCP targets.

You will work alongside therapists, behaviour practitioners, and teaching assistants to provide an integrated approach to education, supporting communication, early language, social interaction, sensory development, and school readiness. The role requires someone who can create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment where children can build confidence and independence from the earliest stages of education.

The ideal Early Years SEN Teacher will have excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, experience supporting children with additional needs, and a genuine passion for early intervention. This is a permanent position starting ASAP.

The School

This is a specialist independent SEN school in Chelsea supporting approximately pupils aged 2 to 11 with autism and related developmental needs. The Early Years provision provides intensive therapeutic support, combining high-quality teaching with evidence-based interventions to help children develop communication, social, and learning skills from an early age.

Children benefit from high staff-to-pupil ratios, personalised learning programmes, and access to a multidisciplinary team working together to achieve the best outcomes. The school is currently rated Good by Ofsted.
